“Simulated Himmapan forest garden with giant waterfalls, mist curtains, and spectacular photo spots in a fairytale-like atmosphere.”

Dan Tewada (Dan Tewada) is a famous tourist attraction and cafe in Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province, which has transformed over 9 rai of land into a large fantasy garden. It combines landscaping, simulated nature, and architecture under the concept of a "heavenly land," becoming one of the most popular landmarks for photographers and tourists visiting Chiang Mai.

The area is designed to resemble a Himmapan forest, adorned with various trees, ferns, moss, natural rocks, and a misting system that operates periodically, creating an image of a forest covered in mist throughout the day, along with the sound of flowing water that adds freshness and relaxation.

The main highlight is the large simulated waterfall cliff, with water flowing into a clear blue stream all year round. Visitors can walk and enjoy the view via wooden bridges, stone pathways, and various viewpoints, each designed specifically for photography. Additionally, there are streams teeming with carp, adding beauty to the landscape.

The interior is divided into several zones, such as a seasonal flower garden zone, a simulated cave with Buddha images for worship, fantasy sculpture arches, a relaxation area, riverside pavilions, and photo spots that change decorative themes during certain festivals, making it possible to revisit and always find new photo opportunities.

For those seeking relaxation, there are coffee shops, cafes, bakeries, beverages, and restaurants serving Thai food, adapted Lanna cuisine, and à la carte dishes. It's suitable for spending an entire day, whether you come as a family, a couple, or a group of friends.

The most popular times are 09:00-11:00 AM and 04:00-06:00 PM, as the natural light is beautiful, the weather is not hot, and it's ideal for photography. Especially in the evening, when the sunlight shines through the mist and water droplets, it adds depth to photos and creates a fantasy-world atmosphere.

Due to its location along Chiang Mai–Fang Highway (Highway No. 107), Dan Tewada is often included in Mae Taeng tourist routes, together with Mae Ngat Somboon Chon Dam, Mork Fa Waterfall, Pong Dueat Pa Pae Geyser, Mae Taeng Elephant Camp, and Wat Den Sali Si Mueang Kaen, making it convenient to plan a One Day Trip.
