The Pediment of the Great Buddha Hall
The facade showcases a graceful Karahafu (curved gable) and a majestic Irimoya roof. Gleaming golden shibi ornaments, intended to ward off fire, embellish the ridge. A central window is opened on special occasions, unveiling the Great Buddha’s face to onlookers.
