The Ordination Hall (Ubosot) of Wat Tha Luang is a magnificent example of traditional Thai architecture, situated on the banks of the Nan River in the heart of Phichit. It was built to enshrine Luang Phor Phet, a highly revered Buddha image in the Maravijaya posture of the Chiang Saen (Singha 1) style. The masonry structure features a surrounding cloister and multi-tiered roofs adorned with exquisite Thai decorative elements. Inside, the hall is famous for its vibrant murals depicting the Life of Buddha and Thai literature, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere for devotees.
