Gplace
Phra Narai Ratchaniwet

This palace was constructed by blending Thai and Western architectural styles, with French and Italian architects collaborating on the design. The interior is divided into outer, middle, and inner zones, featuring significant buildings like Chanthara Phisan Throne Hall and Phra Chao Hao Building with pointed arches. It also features an advanced ancient water system using clay pipes to transport water from Ang Sap Lek to the palace for fountains and reservoirs. The palace served as a prestigious site for receiving French diplomatic envoys and was the place where King Narai the Great passed away in 1688. Today, it is maintained by the Fine Arts Department and houses the King Narai National Museum, which displays numerous valuable historical artifacts.
