Ao Nid Pier is the primary gateway to Koh Mak, located on the southeastern side of the island. It serves as the main arrival point for travelers with both speedboats and ferries operating regularly.

The pier features a long concrete structure extending into a peaceful, crystal-clear bay. Surrounded by an unspoiled atmosphere, it is one of the island's most photogenic landmarks. It becomes especially magical during sunrise, as the soft morning light reflects beautifully across the calm sea surface.

Beyond its role as a transport hub, Ao Nid is also a local community center. The area is home to Koh Mak Temple, a school, and a health station, along with small local restaurants that reflect the authentic lifestyle of the island’s residents. Visitors arriving here will immediately experience the laid-back charm that defines Koh Mak.

Additionally, the pier serves as a convenient starting point for exploring the island. Roads connect directly to various beaches and resorts, and travelers can easily continue their journey via resort transfers or by renting a motorbike to explore Koh Mak at their own pace.

From Bangkok, travel to Trat by car or flight, continue to Krom Luang Chumphon Pier (Laem Ngop Pier), take a speedboat (approx. 45–50 minutes) or a wooden ferry (approx. 3 hours), and arrive directly at Ao Nid Pier
