Sculpture of Kraithong and Chalawan

This sculpture set is located in front of Chalawan Cave within the Phichit Old City Park. It depicts a pivotal scene from the local folklore "Kraithong," where Kraithong confronts the giant crocodile Phaya Chalawan. The ensemble features Kraithong in ancient Thai warrior attire, standing in a heroic pose while clutching his magical "Sattaloha" spear, and Phaya_Chalawan in his crocodile form with its mouth wide open in a fierce expression. This artwork not only offers aesthetic value but also reinforces the cultural significance of the Chalawan legend to the spirit of Phichit's people.
