The Chedis of Wat Mahathat consist of satellite stupas located around the central Prang within the sacred precinct of Phichit Old City Park. Most were constructed using laterite and terracotta bricks, reflecting early Ayutthaya and late Sukhothai architectural styles. These structures represent the ancient tradition of building stupas for enshrining relics or making merit. Currently, they appear as weathered square and round brick bases, yet they continue to illustrate the prosperity and organized layout of the central temple in the ancient city.
