Jodo-in - Historical Sanctuary
Established in the late 15th century (Muromachi period) to revive the temple after eras of decline, Jodo-in became the primary residence for the monks. It houses several Important Cultural Properties, including the Shoin (drawing room), which showcases refined architecture from the transitional period between the Momoyama and Edo eras.
