The View Point Km 41 is located at kilometer 41 on the Chom Thong–Doi Inthanon road. This viewpoint sits just before the Twin Pagodas. It’s among the most breathtaking sunrise and mist-viewing spots in Doi Inthanon National Park. During the cool season (October–March), the area is often covered by dense morning fog over layered mountains.
Visitors can stop their cars right at the viewpoint without trekking, making it suitable for families, seniors, and all age groups. Coffee and snack stalls open early in the morning, offering a cozy mountain experience while enjoying the view.
How to Get There

By private car: Follow Highway No. 1009 (Chom Thong–Inthanon). The viewpoint is located around km 41, about 2 km before the Twin Pagodas.

By motorbike or rental car: Check brakes and tires carefully; the road is steep and winding with occasional fog.

By local songthaew: Hire from Chom Thong or Doi Inthanon entrance and ask to stop at km 41.
