“Boat along the "Three Brothers" limestone peaks, spot giant Rafflesia flowers, stay on floating rafts, kayak emerald waters, and trek rich tropical forest trails.”

Khao Sok National Park was declared a national park on December 22, 1980, covering 645.52 sq km (403,450 rai). It connects to Khlong Saeng Wildlife Sanctuary and Khlong Phanom National Park, forming vital wildlife corridors.

Geography: The park features rugged limestone peaks, cliffs, mysterious caves, and waterfalls. The northern area hosts a large water reservoir formed by Ratchaprapa Dam, surrounded by lush rainforest and abundant wildlife.

Biodiversity: Khao Sok Forest is home to rare animals such as gibbons, serows, and hornbills. Unique flora includes the giant Rafflesia and white-backed palms thriving along limestone cliffs.

Experiences: The park is divided into two main areas:

  • Forest Area (Phanom side): Ideal for trekking, birdwatching, and waterfall exploration.
  • Cheow Lan Lake Area: Enjoy long-tail boat tours among limestone peaks, relax on floating rafts isolated from the outside world.

Activities include:

  • Long-tail boat or bamboo raft trips on Cheow Lan Lake
  • Trekking to see Rafflesia flowers and rare wildlife
  • Canoeing or tubing in Khlong Sok
