By Private Car:

• From Ban Rai district, follow Highway 3011 (the same route to Wat Tham Khao Wong). Follow the signs for Tham Khao Wong Forest Park. Once at the park office, you can park and walk about 100 meters to the cave entrance.

By Public Transport:

• Take a van from Bangkok to Ban Rai. From the district center, hire a local "Skylab" (motorcycle taxi) to take you to the Forest Park (approximately 12 km).

Best Season:

• Can be visited year-round, but November to February is ideal for trekking to the peak as the weather is mild and the sky is usually clear.

Equipment:

• Bring a personal flashlight even though there is some lighting provided. Wear sneakers with good grip to prevent slipping on cave surfaces or during the mountain climb.

Photography:

• To capture the "Sky Light" beams or the fine details of the formations in low light, a tripod is highly recommended.

Cave Etiquette:

• Strictly avoid touching the stalactites or stalagmites. Oils from human skin can "kill" the formations, causing them to turn black and stop growing.
