Shuzenji Onsen is the oldest hot spring town on the Izu Peninsula, with a history of more than 1,200 years. Often called the “Little Kyoto of Izu,” the town is known for its traditional wooden architecture, stone-paved streets, and peaceful natural setting along the Katsura River.
