City Pillar Shrine of Sa Kaeo
Designed by the Fine Arts Department, the shrine consists of five prangs connected by corridors, representing unity and balance. The city pillar, made from Cassia Fistula wood, follows the ancient royal tradition. Inside is the City’s Destiny Plate, an auspicious gold leaf plate blessed by His Majesty King Rama IX on September 12, 1996.
