Prasat Baan Panna, located in the Sakon Nakhon Basin, Sawang Daen Din District, Sakon Nakhon Province, is an "Arokayasala," or ancient hospital, built in the 18th Buddhist century during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. The castle is constructed of laterite and features a square main prang (tower) and a vihara (assembly hall) surrounded by a surrounding wall. It is one of the most important and well-preserved Khmer archaeological sites in the area.
