Unearthed Artifacts

Excavations at Ku Phanna have brought to light remarkable artifacts, including a Vajradhara Buddha statue adorned with elaborate robes and an Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva statue in the Bayon style of Khmer art, reflecting Mahayana Buddhism. Moreover, fragments of lintels, pottery, and laterite lotus bases were discovered, providing clear evidence that this site once served as an Arokayasala, a religious sanctuary linked to a hospital, during the reign of King Jayavarman VII.
