The Sacred Heart of Shitenno-ji
Shitenno-ji features a unique straight-line layout, where the Saijumon (Middle Gate), Gojunoto (Five-storey Pagoda), and Kondo (Golden Hall) are perfectly aligned. This ancient design has remained unchanged for 1,200 years. The Kondo serves as the spiritual center, housing the Kyuse Kannon, a manifestation of the temple's founder.
