Shitenno-ji Kameifudoson
Kamei Fudoson is a sacred site within Shitenno-ji's Kameido (Turtle Well Hall). It enshrines Fudo Myoo, an incarnation of Dainichi Nyorai, often used to ward off evil. In rituals, nameplates of the deceased are floated in water where the "Dragon’s Well" reflection and ancient turtle stonework symbolize a connection to the afterlife.
