ขับรถเที่ยว ตามเส้นทางหลวง 1130 เชียงใหม่ เชียงดาว ผ่าน ฝาง แม่จัน สุดปลายทางที่เชียงราย

ล้อหมุนแต่เช้า จากตัวเมืองเชียงใหม่ วิ่งขึ้นเหนือเป็นแนวดิ่ง หนทางเริ่มคดเคี้ยวเมื่อเข้า เขตอำเภอเชียงดาว สองข้างทาง จากจุดนี้ เมื่อได้กลิ่นไอ ธรรมชาติเขาสูงชัน ป่าดิบชื้น ลำธารด้านขวามือ แวะดื่มกาแฟสักถ้วยก่อน เที่ยวจุดแรก วัดถ้ำเชียงดาว ใช้เวลา 1-1.5 ชม. ถ้ามีเวลาน้อยอย่าเข้าถ้ำไปลึกๆ ถ้ายังไม่เทียงวัน แนะนำให้แวะน้ำพุร้อนฝาง ขับรถต่อด้วยไหว้พระธาตุบนดอย "วัดท่าตอน" เป็นจุดแวะที่ 3 หาอาหารกลางวันทานแถวริมน้ำท่าตอนง่ายๆ แวะซื้อส้ม น้ำส้ม เข้าชมสวนส้มธนาธร(ถ้ามีเวลา แต่แอดฯเดาว่าไม่น่าจะมี) ขึ้นดอยแม่สลองพักที่ "แม่สลองเมาท์เท่นโฮมรีสอร์ท ที่พักง่ายๆ ไร้แสงสี มีแต่ป่ากะธรรมชาติล้วนๆ ราคาไม่แพง

เช้าวันรุ่งขึ้น แวะชิมชา สัมผัสวิถึชุมชนชาวเขา ไหว้พระธาตุบนดอย ถ่ายรูปสวยๆไร่ชาบนดอย ก่อนตีรถไป ไร่ชาฉุยฟง ใช้เวลาที่นี่สัก 2 ฃม ก่อน เข้าตัวเมืองเชียงราย

Wat Chiang Dao Cave

วัดถ้ำเชียงดาว ทางเข้าถ้ำเป็นบันไดมีหลังคามุงสังกะสี หน้าถ้ำมีธารน้ำไหลผ่านเต็มไปด้วยปลาหลายชนิด นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถให้อาหารปลาได้ หากต้องการชมบริเวณถ้ำ สามารถติดต่อคนนำทางได้บริเวณหน้าถ้ำต้องเสียงค่าบริการพิเศษ ปัจจุบันทางวัดได้ต่อไฟฟ้า เข้าถึงตัวถ้ำ บริเวณหน้าถ้ำยังมี ธารน้ำไหลผ่านเต็มไปด้วย ปลาหลายชนิด ด้านขวามือตรงกลางสระเป็นเรือสำเภาหิน เสียค่าเข้าชมคนละ 10 บาท
