Layout of Kusho Myojin
This sacred complex consists of three small shrine buildings aligned in a row (from north to south), serving as divine protectors of the temple and the Imperial Family:
- Hon-den (Central Shrine): The primary structure located in the center of the complex.
- Sayu-den (Left and Right Shrines): Two flanking buildings consisting of:
- Sa-den (Left Shrine): Situated to the North (on the left side when facing the shrines).
- U-den (Right Shrine): Situated to the South (on the right side when facing the shrines).
