Shiroshoin (The White Study)
The Shiroshoin is a bright and airy building within the Goten complex, reconstructed in the early 20th century. Its name, "White Study," refers to its use of light-colored wood and vibrant paintings on its sliding doors (fusuma). It serves as a formal reception hall for high-ranking guests and official ceremonies, acting as a bridge between the grand Shinden and the private Kuro Shoin.
