การเดินทางไป เกาะพยาม ไม่ยาก สำหรับ คนที่ไม่เคยไป นั่งเรือโดยสาร โดยจะมีบริการนักท่องเที่ยว จากท่าเรือระนอง – เกาะพยาม 2 เที่ยว ในเวลา 09.00 น. และ 14.00 น. เที่ยวกลับจากเกาะพยาม – ท่าเรือระนอง 2 เที่ยวเช่นกัน ในเวลา 08.30 น. และ 14.00 น. ราคา 150 บาท บริการเรือเร็วโดยจะมีบริการ จากเกาะพยาม – ท่าเรือระนอง เวลา 09.00 น. และ 13.30 น. จากท่าเรือระนอง – เกาะพยาม เวลา 10.00 น. และ 14.30 น. โดยใช้เวลาเดินทางประมาณ 30 – 40 นาที ราคา 350 บาท ชายหาดมี 2 หาดหลักๆ คือ อ่าวเขาควาย Baffalo Bay และอ่าวใหญ่ Ao Yai ตามชือเลย อ่าวเขาควาย มีรูปหาด(อ่าว) เหมือนเขาควาย (ตามแผนที่) ขณะที่อ่าวใหญ่ มีหน้าหาดยาวและกว้างขวางกว่า ที่พักบนเกาะพยาม แนะนำเลือกที่พักบนอ่าวเขาควาย หรืออ่าวใหญ่ก็ได้
