Kong Laen or Pai Canyon is situated in Pai town, along the highway no 1095, 8 kms to Pai Town. You have to walk for 200 metres to Kong Laen.

สำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทย เที่ยวห้วยน้ำดัง ไม่ค่อยนิยมล่องแพยางเท่าไรเพราะอันตรายเกินไป ขับรถเที่ยวเล่น แถวถนนหลัก กอแลน สะพานประวัติศาสตร์ น้ำตก น้ำพุร้อนปาย อาบน้ำแร่ วัดพระธาตุแม่เย็น วัดน้ำฮู บ้านยูนนาน และก็เดินเตร่แถวถนนคนเดินยามราตรี

ลักษณะของถนนคนเดิน อ.ปาย เดิมที่มีเพียงการวางแผงสินค้าที่ระลึกเล็ก ๆ ริมถนนของชาวบ้านในอำเภอปาย จำพวกสินค้าพื้นเมืองประเภทหัตถกรรมต่าง ๆ ของชาวเขา เช่น หมวก เสื่้้อผ้า รองเท้าลูกปัด กำไล สร้อยคอ อาศัยแสงไฟอันน้อยนิดจากท้องถนน บ้างก็ใช้ตะเกียง หรือแสงจากเทียน กลุ่มลูกค้าส่วนใหญ่เน้นที่ชาวต่างชาติมากกว่า ชาวบ้านเริ่มขายอาหารท้องถิ่น เปิดเป็นร้านค้าอาหารยุโรป น้ำดื่ม เหล้า เคาว์เตอร์เบียร์ ฯลน พอนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทยเพิ่มขึ้นในช่วง ปี 51-55 นี้ เริ่มมีร้านค้าจำพวก โปสท์การ์ด รถเข็นขายโรตี มัน เผือกเผาก๋วยเตี๋ยวร้านเบเกอร์รี่ ร้านปลาหมึกย่าง สุดแล้วแต่จะนำมาขายกัน ผสมปนเปกันจนไม่มีเอกลักษณ์เดิมซะเท่าไร

สำหรับคนที่ไม่เคยไปปายหรือ ไปไม่บ่อย ก็คงไม่ค่อยเห็นถึงความแตกต่าง แต่เสน่ห์ของถนนคนเดินอีกอย่างถือ ร้านขายโปสท์การ์ดนี่ครับ ถือว่าเป็นสีสรรปาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นยามคำคืน หรือกลางวัน ทำให้ได้มุมมองความคลาสิค น่าหลงใหลไม่น้อย read more
